About Us At St Paul's we believe that all children have the right to an excellent education in its broadest sense and as a Catholic school the teachings of Christ are at the heart of all development of the school community, both academically and personally. We believe that each child is unique and it is our job to draw out each child's potential so that they grow into happy, secure, confident young people ready to face the challenges of the world beyond school. Students at St Paul's flourish in a safe and challenging learning environment which is exciting and stimulating, which provides opportunities in abundance, both within and beyond the classroom.
Our core purpose at St Paul's is to ensure that every student achieves excellence in his or her own terms, but also demonstrates commitment to others through opportunities of service, both within the school community but also in the
local and wider community. So, what do we want to achieve as a school?
Quite simply, to be the best we can be! St Paul himself stressed the importance of love, service and doing the best that is possible, values which encourage students and staff to strive towards greater improvement in learning and development
year on year.
Business Profile Welcome to the St. Paul's Catholic College Sixth Form portal of the college website. This area will guide you through the work of the Sixth Form. You can also find information on the courses we run and how to apply.
St Paul's Sixth Form has been inspected by Ofsted (May 2007) and has been commended for making 'dramatic improvements' due to a 'greatly strengthened culture of learning' which is at the forefront of what we aim to achieve at St Paul's.
In addition to this learning culture the ethos to the Sixth Form is one that I feel should mirror the adult work place. Therefore high levels of attendance, punctuality, politeness and a willingness to work cooperatively with others is essential.
I hope you find the area useful and that it gives you the information you require in relation to applying for a place at St Paul's.
We welcome applicants from outside the College. If you require any further information please contact us at the College or even come in for a visit.
